About EMCWA

The Electrical Manufacturing & Coil Winding Association, Inc. (EMCWA), is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the furtherance of the conception, research, design, manufacturing, marketing and use of electrical products. The Association provides an array of educational opportunities that enhance the development, knowledge, and use of electrical technology and products. Providing an annual forum to display products, ideas and innovations is a key element in this educational process.

EMCWA is dedicated to advancing the electrical manufacturing industry. This goal is ongoing and achieved through our membership and association activities. The membership mix is a unique and highly effective combination of representatives from our core industries, related electrical manufacturing industries, scientific communities, academia and other interested individuals. Each member is a professional committed to excellence and brings their skills and talents to the Association is on a volunteer basis. EMCWA members are engineers, company presidents, managers from all engineering disciplines, manufacturing experts, designers, scientists, university faculty members and other key individuals.

Since our formation in 1974, EMCWA membership has risen sharply. Our objective, however, is more aggressive than simply raising the count… our goal is to advance our industry through education, participation and communication. These industry advancements include:
• Scholarships
• Technical conferences
• Industry exhibitions
• International participation
• Workshops
• Seminars
• Membership rosters and directories
• Technical proceedings manuals

EMCWA is staffed by a small core of independent contractors. The EMCWA staff is directed by the EMCWA Board of Directors and its highly active volunteer committees responsible for setting, and achieving, Association goals and objectives.

The EIC/EM Expo is one of the key ways in which the Association can achieve the goal of advancing the industry through education, participation and communication.

For exhibitors, the EIC/EM Expo provides the largest international gathering of proven specifiers and buyers of electrical manufacturing equipment, insulating materials, magnetic materials, magnet wire, as well as of electrical components. Each year, thousands of attendees walk the show floor to gather ideas, to solve product and process problems, and to continue their evaluation of whether it is more advantageous to make or buy electrical components. Don’t miss out on this most effective method to reach the largest captive audience of buyers anywhere. Reserve your space for EIC/EM Expo 2007 today!
